Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology goes beyond the capabilities of typical water filtration by using a semipermeable membrane to remove impurities from water down to a size of 0.0001 microns. Unlike standard carbon cartridge water filtration, during the reverse osmosis water purification process, water is pushed through an ultra-fine, technologically advanced 0.0001 micron membrane, remove up to 99%+ of contaminants from your drinking water (incl. total dissolved solids - TDS).

While the waste water containing the undesirable substances are discharged from the membrane operating in a cross-flow fashion, water received from the alternate line of the cross-flow is collected in the tank as pure water, ready to drink at the turn of a tap.
